More About Us
We do not discriminate in any way and welcome anyone interested in the arts, male or female, educator, gallery director, artist or arts administrator to join us in furthering art dialogue. Please see the membership area of our website or go to the national website at www.nationalwca.org
We are organized under the National organization of the Women's Caucus for Art in New York, which was established in 1972, an outgrowth of the College Arts Association. Please see the WCA national website at www.nationalwca.org . To be a member of the Colorado Chapter of the WCA, we need also to be a member of the national WCA. The National organization is a 501c3, but the Colorado chapter has not organized as such yet.

Participate in Exciting Show Opportunities:
The Colorado Chapter is an active group with many exhibition opportunities for artists. Previous shows included shows at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design, Denver, Colorado State University, Ft. Collins, Air Force Academy and the Dairy Center for the Arts in Boulder among others. (See Show Archives) Membership benefits include participation in our shows, however, we have a $10 hanging fee per show if you are juried into a show and most shows are juried. When you join WCA you enter into a national and local community of women in the arts. The national chapter hosts yearly conferences and the local chapter holds meetings and special events, such as gallery talks, panel discussions, gallery walks, community outreach, group installations, networking and potlucks.
